Confession time

You know before I had a real relationship with God I was angry all the time. I was so angry that the littlest thing would set me off. I lost my filter at most times and would really wound people with my words. I had a nasty way about me, i was that girl in class that never said much but would mummble harsh things about people. I only did it cause I was lost and it made me feel powerful to destroy someone with only my words. Though I felt ugly on the inside I hated myself, body and mind, and I wanted everyone around me to be on the sinking ship with me. Now I’m a new person. God took away my anger and gave me peace. Now I want to love on people, instead of bringing people down I want to lift them. I’m happy with who I am in Christ and thank my Father everyday for taking my anger away. I’m still a work in progress, I mean I still get mad from time to time but it does not consume me like it did before. So thanks Dad, I hope I can keep being your peaceful warrior.
